How Schatztruhe4all came into being

Behind Schatztruhe4all as a start-up for antique, art and furniture lovers are Mr. Hahn and Mr. Troemer. Both grew up in a parental home with antiques and thus experienced the special charm of furniture and works of art worth preserving at an early age. Even as children, they both quickly learned which cups in the household are acceptable to drink from and which are better not to take in one’s hands and throw wildly around the apartment.

Antiques – a hype and a ratings booster

The two founders of Schatztruhe4all have combined a sense of tradition and nostalgia with a full-blown business sense. The inspiration for this came, among other things, from TV series such as “Bares für Rares”. With these formats a regular hype developed around the treasures from the attic. Shows of this kind are not only real ratings drivers, but are also inviting more and more people to rummage through their own household goods.

Do not underestimate your own belongings

Many households contain old family and heirloom items with many memories attached to them. Some of these antiques should not be sold because they are too personal.
